This is our first year undertaking the Blue Star Programme, in hope of achieving our Blue Star Flag. This exciting programme teaches us all about European cultures and the European Union through fun and creative activities and projects.

We have already started learning about the EU, what is is and why it was founded. We have also begun working on our projects based on some of the countries in the EU. The Blue Star Programme is taught under four headings, or elements: Historical, Geographical, Cultural & Creative and Institutional. We will continue to work on this project until May 8th, when we end our learning through celebration of Europe Day.

We are already enjoying the programme so far, but are excited to learn even more about Europe and the EU.
