Our Student Council have been working very hard over the last couple of months on various projects. They are working towards:
(a) reducing our ESB usage by 10 watts over the winter months.
(b) reducing our water wastage by 2 bottles over the course of the winter months.
Over the next few weeks, they are working towards:
(a) surveying the children to enable them put together new playground games to play on a weekly basis.
(b) planning and implementing an activity for the whole school to enjoy during Seachtain na Gaeilge
(c) devising phrases for both the Junior Room and Senior Room to use during Seachtain na Gaeilge.
(d) organising a reward system for the children during Seachtain na Gaeilge.
(e) Surveying the children in the school to ascertain what are doing to promote kindness and how we can improve on being kind to each other. This will integrate with the Cinnealtas initiative which we will be organising over the next year.
We are looking forward to seeing what they come up with.
