We are very happy to be entering our third year of Yes to Languages! This is a wonderful module that gives pupils a taste of a range of modern foreign languages in the classroom. Our Senior Room pupils are really enjoying learning some phrases and basic language to communicate through French this year, having previously learned Spanish and German through the module.

This is a fun, interactive and engaging module that fosters a lifelong interest in languages. It enables our pupils to build confidence, curiosity and communication skills while engaging in fun games and lesson taught by a skilled language teacher.

The introduction of foreign language learning in primary schools is supported by the Primary Curriculum Framework which promotes the teaching of modern foreign languages (MFL) in primary schools in the redeveloped Primary Language Curriculum.
